History of Crocs
On a Caribbean sailing trip in May 2002, three Colorado guys began dreaming about the perfect shoe (as you do !!). They wanted something they could wear on their boating trips that was comfy, useful, fashionable and fun. A shoe that was slip-proof and waterproof, didn't smell, didn't leave marks, and was the most comfortable shoe in the World.
A tall order, you may think.
Well - they did it !
In July 2002 they developed the shoe and began marketing it in November 2002 at a Boat Show. Sales poured in and by 2003, Crocs had become a phenomenon in the States. Unable to keep up with demand, the shoes were available only in selected outlets in USA, until July 2005 when they arrived in the UK.
Love Those Shoes launched them on the Internet on their Love Those Shoes and My Vegan Shoes sites in September 2005, to become the first online retailer in the UK to sell these amazing shoes - but then, we always did bring you innovation before anyone else !! |
